Teil 2 – Wo ist das schöne Mädchen?
Part 2 – Where is the beautiful girl?
Luc und das bezaubernde Mädchen gehen Hand in Hand die Straße entlang
Luc and the charming girl go hand in hand down the street
Keiner traut sich etwas zu sagen
No one dares to say something
Alle paar Sekunden lächeln sie sich an
Every few seconds they smile at each other
Luc möchte gerade nach ihrem Namen fragen als es passiert
Luc is just about to ask for her name when it happens
Ein schwarzer Sportwagen fährt mit hoher Geschwindigkeit in ihre Richtung
A black sports car is driving very fast in their direction
Das Auto fährt mit zwei Rädern auf dem Bürgersteig
The car drives with two wheels on the pavement
Der Fahrer versucht noch zu bremsen aber es ist zwecklos
The driver tries to brake but there is no chance
Die Reifen quietschen laut
The tires squeal loudly
Luc und das Mädchen sind starr vor Angst
Luc and the girl are paralyzed with fear
Ohne nachzudenken nimmt er ihren Arm und schubst sie weg
Without thinking he takes her arm and shoves her away
Dann erwischt ihn das Auto und schleudert ihn hoch in die Luft
Then the car hits him and hurls him high into the air
Luc fliegt im hohen Bogen über das Auto und landet auf der Straße
Luc flies in a high arc over the car and lands on the street
Dann wird er ohnmächtig
Then he faints
Der Fahrer steigt aus seinem Auto aus
The driver gets out of his car
Er ist so besoffen er kann kaum stehen
He is so boozed up he can barely stand
Er überlegt ein paar Sekunden was er tun soll
He ponders for a few seconds what to do
Dann steigt er wieder in sein Auto und fährt weg als wäre nichts passiert
Then he climbs back into his car and drives away as if nothing has happened

Als Luc die Augen wieder aufmacht starrt er an eine weiße Decke
When Luc opens his eyes again he stares at a white ceiling
Er ist verwirrt und weiß gar nicht wo er ist
He is confused and doesn't know where he is
Er liegt in einem Bett und neben dem Bett steht eine Krankenschwester
He lies in a bed and next to the bed is a nurse
Sie schaut ihn sehr freundlich an
She looks at him very kindly
Dann gibt sie ihm ein Glas Wasser und eine Schmerztablette
Then she gives him a glass of water and a pain killer
Luc hat Glück im Unglück
Means: Luc is lucky under the circumstances (a blessing in disguise)
Beinahe hätte er den Unfall nicht überlebt
He almost didn't survive the accident
Seine Verletzungen sind zum Glück nicht so schwer
His injuries are fortunately not so hard
Er hat nur ein paar Schürfwunden und eine Beule am Kopf
He has only a few scrapes and a bump on the head
Luc schaut sich im Zimmer um
Luc looks around the room
Er sucht das bezaubernde braunhaarige Mädchen aber es ist nicht da
He seeks the charming brown haired girl but she isn't there
Er fragt die Krankenschwester ob sie weiß wo das Mädchen ist
He asks the nurse if she knows where the girl is
Aber die Krankenschwester hat sie leider nicht gesehen
But unfortunately the nurse hasn't seen her
Wo kann sie nur sein?
Where can she be?
Sein Kopf tut weh und irgendwie sind seine Gedanken ganz durcheinander
His head hurts and somehow his thoughts are all confused
Da er keine schweren Verletzungen hat darf er das Krankenhaus
sofort wieder verlassen
Since he has no serious injuries he may leave the hospital immediately
Luc muss noch zur Polizeistation gehen um eine Aussage zu machen
Luc has to go to the police station to make a statement
Er muss genau beschreiben wie das Auto und der Fahrer aussahen
He has to describe exactly how the car and the driver looked
Er fragt die Polizisten ob sie wissen wo das Mädchen ist und ob sie verletzt sei
He asks the policemen if they know where the girl is and if she was injured
Aber die Polizisten wissen nichts von einem Mädchen
But the policemen don't know anything about a girl
Luc verlässt die Polizeistation und geht sehr traurig nach Hause
Luc leaves the police station and goes home very sadly
Er stellt sich immer und immer wieder die gleiche Frage
He asks himself the same question over and over again
Warum weiß niemand was mit dem Mädchen ist?
Why does no one know what happened with the girl?
Wo ist sie?
Where is she?
Oh nein
Oh no
Existiert das schöne braunhaarige Mädchen nur in seiner Phantasie (Fantasie)?
Does the beautiful brown-haired girl only exist in his imagination?
Luc ist ganz durcheinander
Luc is all messed up
Er ist gerade vor seiner Haustür angekommen als er seinen Namen hört
He has just arrived at his front door when he hears his name
Dann spürt er eine Hand auf seiner Schulter
Then he feels a hand on his shoulder
Er dreht sich um und schaut direkt in zwei wunderschöne Augen
He turns around and looks directly into two beautiful eyes
Sie lächelt ihn an
She smiles at him
Luc kann sein Glück noch gar nicht fassen
He can hardly believe his luck
